Admission Requirements
Postsecondary Program:
The minimum admission requirement for post secondary programs is one of the following:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- General Educational Development (GED)
- Successful completion of Mature Student Assessment
- Appropriate credits from the Academic and Career Entrance program (ACE).
Non-Postsecondary Programs:
The minimum admission requirement for non-postsecondary programs is one of the following:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
- Nineteen (19) years of age or older, or approval from a Program Officer
Prerequisites
Course prerequisites: Some courses require prerequisites to be completed before registering. Please make sure that you have successfully completed the applicable prerequisite courses to avoid problems with the course material and/or with your transcript.

Monday to Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Course Fees
Total fees (including material fees, if applicable) are required at time of registration. Your registration receipt should be taken to your first class.
Parking (Thunder Bay)
Parking permits are required weekdays from 8 am - 5 pm.
Cancelled Courses and Refund Policy for Non-Post-Secondary, General Interest & Special Workshops
Confederation College reserves the right to cancel, adjust start date with short notice, if necessary. Full refunds will be issued.
Courses may be cancelled if they do not meet minimum enrolment levels before the start date. The College will try diligently to contact you (by email) in advance of a cancellation. However, the College cannot assume responsibility for any expenses incurred if you arrive for a class which has been cancelled or rescheduled. A full refund will be issued for courses cancelled by the College.

Withdraw (with refund)
In most cases, to be eligible for a full refund you must withdraw 14 days before the first class is scheduled. Exceptions may apply for courses with different refund requirements outlined.
A $20.00 administration fee per course will be withheld 1–14 days minimum $20.00 administration fee if withdrawing prior to deadline. No refund will be issued for withdrawals submitted after the deadline (day of course starting), whether or not you actually attended.
If you have an outstanding balance with the College any refund will be applied to that balance.
Refunds are issued by cheque if the original payment was made in person, online OR by your employer or sponsoring agency.
Allow a minimum of four weeks processing time for refunds.
