Step 1. Qualifications for the Summer Job Experience Program
The following criteria must be met in order to qualify for the Summer student Employment Program 2024:
- Must be a full-time post secondary student at Confederation College in the 2023-2024 academic year (minimum – attending entire winter 2024 semester) *Full-time is defined as having a minimum 60% course load, or 40% if you have a permanent disability.
- Must be returning to Confederation College as a full-time post secondary student in September 2024.
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- This program is for students between academic years, therefore, students cannot be enrolled full-time during the May-August period.

Step 2. Confirmation of Enrollment and Financial Need
Print and submit the Confirmation of Enrollment and Financial Need form (DOC) to the Financial Aid Office in-person or by email to [email protected].
Step 3. Financial Need Assessment Form
Print and submit the Financial Need Assessment Form (DOC) to the Financial Aid Office in-person or by email to [email protected].
NOTE: you DO NOT need to complete this form if you were in receipt of OSAP funding or approved for the Institutionally Funded Work Study Program in the 2023-2024 academic year.
Step 4. Approval
Once you have been approved, you will be sent an email advising you of your approval and that an additional email will follow from the College’s Institutional Research Dept. that will have your specific link to the job application form.
