The role of the Board of Governors provides stewardship for Confederation College by setting strategic and policy direction. As a lifelong learner and a passionate advocate for education and community development, I believe my experience in business and as a retired Registered Nurse Supervisor make me a valuable addition to the board. I have been impressed by the faculty and staff’s commitment to student success, and I am eager to contribute to the college’s mission by supporting policies that enhance academic programs, promote accessibility, and foster innovation. Serving on the board would be a rewarding opportunity to improve my community, collaborate with other leaders, and help shape the future of higher education in our region. This is an exciting time for academic delivery and operations of our high-quality certificates, diplomas, and advanced diplomas. I look forward to participating in enhancing Confederation College's offerings in the developing areas of Artificial Intelligence and Open Systems Software as we strive to meet the future needs of our students and to increase their employability.
