High School students can attend college with an opportunity to earn credits by participating in college courses that count towards their secondary school diploma and their college diploma or certification. The College Now program provides opportunities to explore career prospects and helps ensure a successful transition to college. Dual credit courses also engage students to the college setting and culture, provide a smooth transition from secondary to post secondary education. Evidence has shown that dual credit programs increase the likelihood of graduation success and reduce dropout rates.
