Confederation College 2025 Summer Employment Program
Domestic Students: Positions are funded through provincially mandated agreements and are available to eligible students who demonstrate financial need. Students who are citizens of Canada, permanent residents and protected persons qualify. Domestic students in receipt of OSAP will automatically qualify for summer positions. Otherwise, domestic students will be required to complete the needs score spreadsheet to demonstrate a financial need.
International Students: Positions are funded directly by Confederation College. A limited number of positions can be funded. Once the budget allocation has been spent, this website will be updated to inform international students.
Note: International students do not need to complete the needs score spreadsheet to qualify.
Eligibility Criteria
The following criteria must be met by all students wishing to apply:
- Must be a full time post-secondary student at Confederation College in the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Must be returning to Confederation College as a full-time post-secondary student in September 2025
- Must be on a scheduled semester break from May – August 2025.

To apply for positions of interest, please create an account with our recruitment software, and search for part-time support positions that may be available.
Note: Please apply to a maximum of five positions.
Domestic students that are not in receipt of OSAP must complete the needs score spreadsheet and send it to [email protected] by February 27, 2024.

Application process
Step 1.
Qualifications for the Summer Job Experience Program
The following criteria must be met in order to qualify for the summer student Employment Program 2025:
- Must be a full-time post-secondary student at Confederation College in the 2024-2025 academic year
- Must be returning to Confederation College as a full-time post-secondary student in September 2025.
- If domestic, must be in receipt of OSAP or demonstrate financial need.
- This program is for students on an academic break and is not available to students enrolled full-time during the May-August period.
Step 2.
Financial Need Assessment Form (Domestic Students only)
Print and submit the needs score spreadsheet to the Financial Aid Office in-person or by email to [email protected].
NOTE: you DO NOT need to complete this form if you are an international student, or a domestic student in receipt of OSAP funding.
Step 3.
Approval
Once you have been approved, you will be sent an email advising you of your approval and encouraging you to apply for the positions.
