International Student Application: Confederation College Guide

How to Apply for International Students

Confederation College offers a variety of programs in various fields of study, levels of credential, campuses, and intakes. To review the full list of programs and fees, check out our International Student Program Chart.

Intakes close for admissions approximately six weeks prior to the start of the semester. You should apply as soon as possible to allow enough time to meet tuition payment deadlines and apply for study visas/permits. Programs may close earlier than the deadline if seats are filled and no more offers can be processed.

Note for Agents: If you don't have a signed agreement with the college, visit the Contact Us webpage to connect with an in-country representative.

Step-by-Step Guide to Apply

Ensure the program you are interested in is open for your preferred intake by clicking here.

Program Status Definitions:

  • Closed - The program is no longer accepting applications. This may be due to it being full or it is not being offered in the selected intake.
  • Open - The program is accepting applications.
  • Waitlist - We have sent offers to fill the available program seats, however, we are still accepting applications for this program. We may extend more offers once existing ones expire and we can assess the number of payments and/or visa approvals received.

If you are interested in applying for a postgraduate work permit post-completion, review the programs that are PGWP-aligned. Confederation College’s main campus is in Thunder Bay.

Some programs are offered at our regional campuses but not all are open for international students due to the parameters of your study permit. If you are interested in studying at a regional campus, ensure you are informed of where they are located as some are in remote areas of our region.
