Articulation Agreements

Confederation College students have the opportunity to continue their education and transfer to other post-secondary institutions across Canada and Australia.

Confederation College has agreements in place that permit credits that are earned in certain programs to be transferred to programs at other colleges and universities. This allows our students to gain advanced standing in a wide variety of programs.

University degree graduates also have the opportunity to come to college to apply their learning. Agreements also apply to high school students moving to college to recognize the learning that has occurred.

You are not limited to the pathways/degree completion opportunities listed in the Confederation College Articulation Agreement Database, or ONTransfer.ca You are welcome to apply to the university and program of your choice and credit transfer will be assessed according to the general transfer policy of the receiving institution.   • Cambrian College - College to College Transfer within the Mining programs

    Cambrian College, Northern College

    Sudbury, Ontario | Timmins, Ontario

    A graduate will receive full recognition of prior credit from a partner college for successful completion of a program at another partner college. Successful completion of the one-year mining certificate program at Confederation College or Northern College will allow transferability into the Mining Technician programs at either Northern or Cambrian College.   • Cambrian College - Medical Laboratory Technologist Program

    Qualified students from Confederation College who have successfully completed the Medical Laboratory Assistant Program may be eligible for advanced standing into the 2nd semester of the Medical Laboratory Technology Program at Cambrian College. It also establishes the procedure for admission of qualified applicants from the Medical Laboratory Technologist Program at Cambrian College to the Medical Laboratory Assistant Program at Confederation College.

    This partnership offers subsidized education that will lead to employment in the Canadian Forces through a career opportunity in the Navy.

    This agreement allows McDonald’s employees who have completed McDonald’s Management Development Program Level 2 (MDP), to complete a 2-year Ontario College Business Diploma in as little as 1-year online via Ontario Learn.
