Innovation in Teaching Award
Innovation in Teaching Award
Each year the Organizational Effectiveness department awards the Innovation in Teaching Award to a faculty member who has utilized innovative teaching approaches to enhance student learning and success. This may include the use of new educational technologies, creative uses of traditional technologies, novel approaches to instruction, and/or new ways of engaging students in the learning process.
The purpose of this award is to not only recognize and reward faculty for implementing innovative approaches to teaching and learning, but to encourage, support, and facilitate the sharing of successful teaching practices. In this spirit, the successful recipient will be expected to present their innovative teaching methods during the Annual Academic Showcase.
