Suggestions when making air arrangements:

  • Try and have advance booking (two weeks or more)
  • Try and convince your passenger to stay over on a Saturday night; the majority of reduced fares require this
  • Have dates of travel and approx innate travel times
  • Correct spelling of both first and last name
  • Home phone number in case of flight delay
  • Business phone number
  • Fax number or e-mail address
  • Seating preference for air
  • Frequent flier number
  • Please advise if passenger is traveling internationally if he/she is Canadian Citizen

NOTE:

All reduced airfares have certain restrictions, the most common are non refundable and subject to change penalties. If a ticket is not used, the value of the ticket can be used towards a future reservation with payment of any difference in fare.

Travel must commence within one year of original date of purchase. Thunder Bay Travel has a special area that they file these tickets and place a note in the passengers file that they have a ticket to use. A prompt will come up to use the  original ticket. Please note that name changes are not permitted on any airline tickets.

Helpful Suggestions when Making Hotel Arrangements:

  • Advise if hotel has been blocked off with seminar or convention passenger is attending
  • If no hotel blocked, have either hotel name or specific area where passenger wants to stay
  • Smoking or non smoking
  • All hotels will guarantee for late arrival, so a credit card number with expiry date is needed
  • Number of beds in room if sharing with someone else
  • Any type of corporate discount or hotel program numbers should be given to agent making booking
