Budget Rent-A-Car:

Please find confidential preferred local rates and Budget rental form attached. The rates are effective July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 and there will not be any additional charges for kilometers within Northwestern Ontario.  Please see attachments. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Sara Leclair at 475-6500. This is for local rentals only.

Local rentals will be made directly with Budget Car and Truck Rental at (807) 622-3366. The reservation form can also be emailed to [email protected]

An Advanced Local Vehicle Reservation approval form (attached) must be faxed to Budget as confirmation of the rental. The Advanced Local Vehicle Reservation Approval form must have a visa number and proper authorization.

Budget offers pick-up and delivery to the College Campus. On some occasions, arrangements will require a delivery time of 8:00 a.m. (Receiving is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily). Please note a space on the “Advance Local Vehicle Reservation Approval” for delivery. If the delivery is not at Receiving, please indicate pick-up location.

Drivers are required to complete a full walk-around and physical inspection before departing the rental location and note any problems. Also, vehicles are to be returned with a full tank of fuel.

Budget has unlimited kilometers for use within Northwestern Ontario.

When renting a vehicle for 7 days or less, drivers must accept the Collision Damage (CDW) insurance. If renting for a longer period of time then you do not need to purchase the CDW as this will be covered by the College's Insurance.

Damaged windshield and flat tires are not covered by the College Insurance. If any damages should occur, please contact Anne Mauro (475-6435) or Sara Leclair (475-6500)
