My Student Needs a Tutor

Peer Tutoring is offered as a support service and not as a substitute for regular classroom instruction.  Students who apply (tutees) are allowed a maximum of three hours of tutoring a week.  Students who tutor must have demonstrated a strong understanding of the course content.

Your signature is required on the application for any potential tutor and verifies that the tutor:

• has an "A" in the subject they wish to tutor
• has a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• can communicate course material to others
• has strong interpersonal skills

• The Tutoring / Academic Success Centre encourages you to recommend qualified students to become Peer Tutors.
