Changes to College Mailing Address for Canada Post

Please be advised that, due to an update with Canada Post, Confederation College has made changes to its primary mailing address (previously known as P.O. Box 398, 1450 Nakina Drive, Thunder Bay, ON P7C 4W1). Effective immediately, this address is 1450 Nakina Drive, Thunder Bay, ON P7B 0E5. This change will affect how mail is received and delivered throughout our College campus buildings.

Canada Post is moving to a single mailing address at 1450 Nakina Drive for all Thunder Bay campus buildings. This includes the McIntyre building, Dorion building, the Sibley Conference Centre and the Northwest Innovation Centre. Canada Post is no longer accepting the physical addresses assigned to these buildings.

Please note, however, you are to continue using specific physical addresses in cases of emergency response (i.e., fire, police, ambulance, etc.) and for non-Canada Post deliveries (see below).

Canada Post Letters and Parcels

To ensure your mail and parcels that are sent through Canada Post get delivered to the correct person/department, please label mail as follows:

Non-Canada Post Courier and Deliveries

For parcels or deliveries being sent to the College by any courier or business other than Canada Post, you must use the physical address of the specific building.  Parcels and orders (especially large and oversized parcels) to buildings other than the Shuniah building must be delivered to the buildings directly. Shipping and receiving does not have ability to transport deliveries between buildings and couriers will not take redirection to deliver to an alternate location on campus.  These parcels may need to be rejected at Shipping and Receiving if not addressed correctly.

For any non-Canada Post deliveries or emergency services, continue to use the specific physical address below.

Please note there are no officially assigned postal codes for each location. According to Canada Post, parcels can be sent without a postal code, but if necessary to complete an order form, use the P7B 0E5.
