Students from the HR414 Human Rights in Employment business class had fun last week presenting on human rights employment law cases. Students selected recent real life discrimination cases found throughout Canada on the prohibited grounds of discrimination regarding employment including citizenship, race, age, gender identity, gender expression, sex, sexual orientation and pregnancy.
As you can see, the class came well prepared in professional business attire. Kelly-Anne Leroux, Human Resource Professor, is proud of her students who worked hard this semester learning strategies to address discrimination and harassment in the workplace. These upcoming Human Resources professionals learned strategies to support harassment-free workplaces which they will bring forward into their careers and workplaces.
