Campus Sustainability will be hosting a free, virtual workshop where you can learn to make your own T-shirt bags and reusable napkins at home. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, February 17 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm ET.

Visit https://tshirtbagworkshop.eventbrite.ca for more information and to register.

Ready for another way to reduce waste? Swiffer has partnered with TerraCycle to create a national recycling program for all Swiffer refills including Sweeper, Duster and WetJet pads. Refills are free to ship where they are then turned into pellets, flakes and other usable formats that can be molded into new products and packaging. You’ll even earn rewards points!

Visit https://www.terracycle.com/en-CA/brigades/swiffer-ca-en to learn more about the Swiffer recycling program and be sure to check out the many other free recycling programs that are available.

Stay tuned for more sustainability tips and information about future activities including an upcoming beeswax wrap workshop!
