Join us in celebrating National Indigenous People’s Day on June 21st at Anemki Wajiw!
Thank you to all those who have volunteered to be part of the booth.
We have organized transportation for our staff and students to participate in the festivities and honour the rich cultures and contributions of Indigenous peoples. Please ensure that if you are planning on attending events off campus, you let your Manager know.
Here are the details for organized transportation:
Departure: A bus, provided by Iron Range (school bus), will be leaving from the Confederation College Balmoral entrance promptly at 10 am.
Drop-off: The bus will take us directly to the Fort William First Nations Arena, where the main parking will be.
Shuttle Service: A shuttle will be available at the arena throughout the day to transport attendees up and down the mountain.
Return: The Iron Range bus will depart from the arena at 6 pm to bring staff and students back to Confederation College.
Let’s come together to honour and appreciate the Indigenous heritage. We look forward to seeing you there!
