The winning streak for Confederation College students continues! This is the third year in a row that a recent graduate of the Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) Program at Confederation College, was the winner of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology (CAMRT) 2021 Scientific Paper Award in the student category. Maggie Hui won top honors with her research paper titled, “ Deep Learning in Neuroimaging and its Impact on Radiologists ”. Her paper provided an overview of the clinical applications of Deep Learning algorithms (a subset of AI) in neuroimage analysis, and how Deep Learning applications can accurately assist general radiologists in producing faster and more reliable interpretations of neuroimages.
It is very impressive to win recognition at a National Level!
