NEW / Impala Job Fair

On October 20, 2021, Northwest Employment Works (NEW) hosted an in-person job fair in partnership with Impala Canada Limited to assist Impala in recruiting employees for their palladium mining operations.  Thanks to all the hard work of everyone involved, we are very pleased to say that we hosted 123 job seekers that day, 10 of whom were offered positions on-the-spot during the event, with Impala’s recruiters also taking resumes for many more positions and encouraging us to continue sending resumes for job seekers that match their needs.  Impala was so pleased with this event, that they have requested that we host a similar event in April.  Not only was the event a huge success, but this was a great opportunity to showcase our newly renovated Resource Centre.  Way to go team NEW!  To view the job fair and our new Resource Centre, please click on the following link: https://fb.watch/8U5Vm7jVLp/
