Join us Wednesday June 7th from 12:30pm to 1:30pm in D301 Shuniah Building or online https://bit.ly/45t4mFY  to participate in a presentation provided by a few of our accomplished Nursing faculty.  Snacks will be provided to those who attend in person.
 
•       Kara Morriseau will share a presentation on the Decolonization & Indigenization of Nursing Curriculums: Scaffolding Indigenous Content into Curricula and Starting, Sustaining, and Advancing Hard Discussion: A Two-Eyed Approach to Integrating Western Research Ethics and Indigenous Research within a Nursing Research Course.
 
•       Tia Cooney will share a presentation on her completed research study titled: Caring During the Covid-19 Pandemic: Implications for Nursing Leadership and Management.
 
•       Tia Cooney and Lindsey Inkila will share their completed research study of Limiting Parental Caregivers’ Ability to Leave the Postpartum Unity During Covid-19: Effects on Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
 
These presentations are open to any faculty and staff of Confederation College in an interactive atmosphere designed to provide insights into these research projects, processes, and outcomes and to help others in their journey of incorporating Indigenous content in curricula.
