Oak Medical Arts is the new provider of health services on campus

Oak Medical Arts, a local leader in pharmacy and healthcare, is the new provider of health services for the Confederation College staff and students.

Oak is a locally-owned and operated network of pharmacy and clinic locations, providing services in over ten areas of healthcare. With six locations across Thunder Bay, Oak will now be the provider in the Health Centre on Confederation College campus (in the Shuniah building).

The Health Centre will continue to provide medical care for staff and students of Confederation College, with a nurse practitioner, nurses and pharmacists providing care, assessment, and treatment for medical conditions. We will also continue to provide all medical requirements for all student placements. The friendly, caring healthcare professionals will expand at the Health Centre, and long-time nurse practitioner, Vivian Siciliano, will be returning to work with Oak in the spring after a well-deserved vacation! The Health Centre hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.

In the future, Oak Medical Arts is very excited to continue to expand the ways in which we support the health and wellness of Confederation College through health education, new ways to book appointments, access to our other Oak locations and services, prescription delivery to campus and discounts for staff and students.
