Friday, July 22 wrapped up the end of the Continuing Education Thunder Bay Career Samplers for the summer 2022 with the Rooted In Nature Adventure Week.
Thank you to Sandra Stiles for volunteering summer students Rorik Shron and Heather Platnick from the Environmental Technician program who organized the camp activities throughout the week.
Everyone was kept busy having fun and learning about nature and the environmental program at the same time.
A big shout out goes to Karen King and the SUCCI Wellness Centre allowing us the use of the gym area for some nature exercises that we could not hold outdoors due to the rainy day.
It was great to have the youths participate in group projects while creating new friendship connections along the way.
We are now looking forward to the 2023 Career Samplers and welcome ideas for exciting new opportunities for youth!
