The ImpAct Climate Challenge is back – click here to sign up and participate for a chance to win weekly $350 cash prizes.

 

Starting on October 11th and running for 6 weeks until November 22nd – the national ImpAct Climate Challenge, presented by CICan, will expand your understanding of greenhouse gas emissions and help you discover actionable steps to reduce your footprint. Various climate change related topics such as greenhouse gas emissions, transportation, and Indigenous stewardship will be explored throughout the challenge.

 

How to Participate:

  1. Register: All staff and students of Confederation College can sign up to participate – join the challenge and expand your knowledge and strategies about climate change. Click here to register.
  2. Participate: Participate in weekly knowledge building challenges from October 11th – November 22nd. By participating weekly you have a chance to win a weekly cash prize of $350.
  3. Contribute: In addition to individual weekly prizes, the institutions with the most active members will have a chance to win a $3,000 bursary to award to a student climate leader.

 

Taking part in this challenge will play an important role in making our campus more sustainable and contributes to our progress on SDG #13 – Climate Action, SDG #7 – Affordable and Clean Energy, and SDG #12 – Responsible Consumption and Production.
