Transgender Day of Remembrance

November 20, 2021 marks Transgender Day of Remembrance. To honour the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence, flags at the Confederation College Thunder Bay campus will be flown at half-mast along with the Transgender Pride Flag.
Join the live online remembrance event on November 20 at 6 pm as we commemorate the trans lives lost in the past year due to the disproportionate rate of violence experienced by the community. This will be an evening of speeches, film and vigil. This event is open to anyone and everyone, including Allies and the wider Thunder Bay community and is being facilitated in collaboration with the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO), LUSU’s Pride Central, and Confederation College’s Pride Centre.
