Please join us in welcoming Lindsay Inkila to the School of Health, Negahneewin, and Community Services! Lindsay is one our newest full-time faculty member teaching in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and Practical Nursing (PN) programs. Lindsay will begin her new role March 20th. Lindsay’s educational background includes her Honours Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Perinatal Intensive Care Nursing Program, and her Master of Nursing, with a strong focus on advanced practice nursing and education in the healthcare settings. Lindsay is presently teaching part time for us in the collaborative BScN program. Her work experience has been in the Neonatal Intensive Care and she has participated in and presented on research including most recently on the effects of COVID visiting restrictions on neonatal abstinence scoring. Lindsay also volunteers a lot of her time to coaching basketball and enjoys the outdoors by volunteering at the Lappe Nordic Ski Club. The students will benefit from Lindsay’s passion for healthcare, as well as her motivation and enthusiasm towards teaching and giving back to our students. We look forward to having Lindsay as part of the nursing team!
