In light of the forecasted Winter Storm for Thunder Bay and some of our regional communities, we wanted to remind staff and students about our winter weather communications protocol.
We will make every effort to post any closure or class cancellation notices due to inclement weather on our website, Safe Campus App and social media channels by 7:00 a.m. and send an email.
If you haven’t heard any news to the contrary, please assume campuses are open and operating with classes, work and activities proceeding as scheduled.
If the decision is announced after classes have commenced, employees will be released by their immediate supervisors, and students will be dismissed once their faculty have been advised that classes are cancelled and the campus is closed.
We also remind everyone to give themselves extra travel time and proceed with caution when any level of inclement weather occurs.
