The Engineering Business and Safety Management (EBSM) program is a two-year Graduate Certificate program developed for international students with a minimum of four-year bachelor’s degree in any stream of engineering (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial, and others).
Since its inception in 2014, EBSM has been a unique program designed to provide knowledge and skills in a variety of fields in engineering, occupational health & safety, project management, procurement, operations management, and contract management. Furthermore, EBSM program incorporates knowledge related to sustainable engineering, quality assurance, human resources, and corporate ethics.
Unlike other college programs, this broad exposure delivers a nonconventional platform to our students making them market-ready and providing opportunities to engage with the diverse and dynamic Canadian workforce.
The fourth and final semester of the program is dedicated to providing Canadian work experience for students where they go through a 15-week work placement. Over the past few years, we have managed to build a strong relationship and network with various industry partners helping students to obtain placement offers with college endorsement.
NOTE: Placements will vary by sector and focus. The College will provide some work placement offers as well as assistance to students in securing their own choice of work placements.
