Explore and identify programs or areas of interest offered at Confederation College and career opportunities. Book an appointment with a Recruitment officer who can answer any questions, help you decide on a program and even help you apply.

Completed High School but Need to Upgrade

I have completed high school, but my grades do not meet program requirements/I am missing required courses

For students who have completed high school but need to upgrade their grades or courses to meet program requirements, consider our General Arts and Science, Academic Upgrading, Pre-Health Sciences, or Pre-Technology programs.

Easing into College Life

I am interested in postsecondary but need to ease into college life

The College Access program will help you prepare for success in postsecondary education while exploring career and education options.

 

The General Arts and Science program can provide you with a solid foundation in a variety of topics. Whether your next stop is furthering your college or university education, if you’re having trouble deciding what direction to take, this program is a good way to earn credits and decide later!

Did Not Complete High School?

To meet admission requirements, you'll need to obtain grade 12 equivalents.

 

This can be achieved through the Lakehead District School Board’s Adult Education Program, mature student assessment, Academic Upgrading, or our General Arts and Science program.

Transferring Postsecondary Credits

I am a domestic student who has completed postsecondary credits (PR, PP, CR status) at another institution

If you've completed postsecondary credits at another institution, our Admissions Department can help you explore credit transfer options. Be sure to have your transcripts ready.

Starting an Apprenticeship

I want to start an apprenticeship

For those interested in starting an apprenticeship, if you're already working in your trade of choice, register as an apprentice with the Ministry of Labour, Training, Immigration, and Skills Development. If not, consider related certificate or diploma programs or start a Pre-Apprenticeship program.
