Art Hive: Celebrating Food: Gete Okosomin, Wild Rice and Local Fish

Join the Art Hive, in partnership with Roots to Harvey and Indigenous Food Circle, for a day of learning and cooking. Gete Okosomin, wild rice, and local fish will be prepared and shared.
All are welcome!

November 3^rd, 2021 from 10:00 am -4:00 pm

Where:
Fire Pit, Confederation College, Thunder Bay

Schedule of Events:
10:00 - Opening welcome with Elder Marcel Bananish
10:30 - Squash prep and fish filleting
12:00 - Fish fry and seed saving teaching
1:30-3:30 - Sharing the meal

Covid-19 protocols will be in place.
