Continuing Education would like to thank our wonderful college community for the welcoming embrace of our Career Samplers students back on campus for our brand-new exciting Career Samplers camp “Interactive Media Discovery Week”.
We had 14 energetic youths between 8-14 keeping Gail Parnega, Gina Ciponi, and Susann Danenas busy all week having fun learning about graphic design, illustrator for GlowForge etching, Storyboard for stop motion, 3D, and much more.
The students kept everyone on their toes. We appreciate the Advancement Department for allowing Britney Olsen to come and help out. Her assistance was invaluable to Gail with the students in the lab.
To all the departments and staff that assisted us for the week extend our gratitude. It is too hard to name all departments, staff, and students that were so friendly, Thank you so much!
Next week of July 18 to 22 Continuing Education has the exhilarating Rooted In Nature Adventure camp running both inside the McIntyre building and outside on campus under the guidance of Sandra Stiles summer students Heather Platnick and Rorik Shron.
There is still time to sign up. The deadline is this Friday, July 15 at noon for ages 8-14. Contact Continuing Education for details.
