Welcome Jade Lombardo

We are so excited to announce our new hire as Full time Faculty for Healthcare programs, Jade Lombardo. You may have seen Jade around in the past as she has previously taught in our school sessional, and we are so pleased to have her here full time. Jade is a graduate of Confederation College and Lakehead University where she completed Pre-Health Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Jade went on to complete a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nursing Education and is currently working on completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. Jade has spent many years working in many different capacities both at the bedside as a Registered Nurse in and around Thunder Bay, and in education having taught in various PSW streams here at Confederation College, and in the BScN program at Lakehead University. Previously to arriving at Confederation College in her new role, Jade has worked in leadership capacities as the Health Disciplines Program Coordinator at Oshki-Pimache-O-Win: The Wenjack institute and most recently as a Project Supervisor in Workforce Development here at Confederation College. Jade is very passionate about education and healthcare and has always hoped to return permanently one day to Confederation College where her own post-secondary experience started. Jade has expressed her excitement to be in this role and have the opportunity to support and empower Confederation College students on their own academic journeys.
