Welcome Megan McDonald, Research Project Officer, Applied Research and Innovation

Megan McDonald is a new addition to the Negahneewin Research Centre team, stepping into the role of Research Project Officer in November 2020. She will work with the other members of the Applied Research team to carry out project deliverables in the FEDNOR funded project in which Confederation College received funding. She will support the team’s work to initiate and complete late-stage industry-academic applied research projects that have a focus on advanced manufacturing and forestry (including renewable energy).

She recently relocated to Thunder Bay from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where she graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Arts in political science this spring. Her previous experience includes working with local Saskatoon non-profit arts organizations in planning, research and reporting.
